Leah Einarsen Identity

1. List your ethnic ancestry as far back as you have knowledge, from your mother's and father's lineage.
My mom's mother and father are both 100% Irish. My dad's father is from Oslo, Norway and my dad's mother is from Blackpool, England. My grandpa is 100% Norwegian and my grandma is 50% Irish, 25% English and 25% Spanish. I am a complete mix of different ethnicities and have a very diverse background.

2. List your religious associations.
My mother and father both have very Irish Catholic families. Therefore, I was baptized and confirmed within the Catholic Church. I would associate myself as a Christian, but I am not a very practicing Catholic. I go to Church on Sundays when my dad asks me to join him and practice everything Catholic Holiday, which includes Mass attendance.

3. Have you or has anyone in your family, been harassed or victimized because of race, ethnicity, sexual preference, sex, or religious affiliation.
Not that I know of.

4. Do you identify with a given culture than is not addressed in the above questions?
I lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 5 months and Seville, Spain for 5 months this past year. Although I am a very small percentage of Spanish, I feel as though I consumed the culture because I was completely immersed in the daily life of an Argentine or Spaniard.

5. Do you have friends that are cross ethnic, race, religious gender or cultural barriers?
I have many friends from around the world. Whether I met them in Chicago, the U.S., or overseas, I continue to keep in contact with a lot of them.
