1. List your ethnic ancestry as far back as you have knowledge, from your mother's and father's lineage.
Both of my parents and their lineage have a white ethnicity. My mother's side is predominately ethnic background as Italian. My father's side a tiny percent Russian and French Canadian.
2. List your religious associations.
My mother's side is Catholic and my father's side of the family is Jewish and also have no religious affiliation. The holidays we celebrate in my family are Christmas, Easter, Hanukkah, Yom Kippur, Rosh Hashanah, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs . I identify with the catholic religion because I was raised Catholic and celebrate more Catholic holidays.
3. Have you or has anyone in your family, been harassed or victimized because of race,ethnicity, sexual preference, sex, or relgious affiliation.
No one has been victimized or harassed personally in my family, but the Jewish religion as a whole has been through rough times such as the Holocaust. Also a lot of people don't like when someone else is not catholic.
4. Do you identify with a given culture than is not addressed in the above questions?
No
5. Do you have friends that are cross ethnic, race, religious gender or cultural barriers?
Yes, I have a friend who is from Chicago, but moved to Saudi Arabia. One of her parents is from Africa and the other one is from Saudi Arabia.
Tension: Having both parents with different religions there has been tensions such as which holidays to celebrate more of and which ones to go to.
