From my dad's side I am Norwegian and German. From my mom's side I am Swedish, French, and English.
As far as I know my family have always been Lutheran. We have always celebrated Christmas and Easter. Both of which I understand the religious aspects of them but do not focus that much attention on it during these holidays.
The ethnicity of my ancestors has never been a huge part of my life. I have been aware of my background and where my ancestors came from but how it has affected or impacted my life has never gone further then having the knowledge of it.
I have friends who do share some of the same ethnic background as me and also some friends who do not. This is also true for my race, religious affiliations and gender.
