I was thinking of combing some elements of DePaul architecture. Like here they have in the roosevelt design.
The picture hows the graduation ceremony in progress, the old style ceilings, also taking a look at the girl body language. With the help of the camera angle and her eyes being position upward, it give off a whimsical feeling of accomplishment. The tiny smile and the position of her shoulders, tells us that she feels proud of her accomplishment. It pulls people in, to want this for themselves.
However for Columbia College, they us a more straight forward design.
It has a very serious feel to it, yet a slight soft feel, from the different photos they blended together to make the design.
If you check out the UIC design, it more of a fun design.
You can see the students working together to accomplish the mission in progress. It looks like they are having fun, and you can see the organization they are trying to put in it.
